**** IMPORTANT**** Airport transfers are quite expensive in Japan, and we usually recommend our travellers take the train to the airport to save money. If they are flying out of Tokyo (HND/NRT), they have the option to take a flight or train from Kyoto to the capital. As the tour ends in Kyoto, Osaka Airport (ITM) will be the closest option. Flights from Osaka (ITM) to their home city may connect in Tokyo (HND/NRT), so it is worth advising them this when looking at options.
